Dear Paul Williams,
I haven’t received any reply to my letter dated 21th March 2006, in connection to the incident that took place in my balcony on the 26th October 2005. I understand that you would forward that letter to the relevant people so please make sure it is given consideration.
Furthermore, I would like to report another insult that I suffered from a person connected to your company. Mr Angus, site manager, has made accusations against me in front of five witnesses. It took place inside the block of flats at Woburn Place, in the 2nd floor, in front of my home. He accused me of going up the roof of the building to deposit mud. This accusation came after I asked the five visitors, from Brighton Council and Dunlop Haywards, to make arrangements for the new gutters to be free from mud, moss and other rubbish.
In my opinion, this accusation is absurd and it can only come from a distorted mind. It shines some light on what sort of thoughts are present in the mind of this site manager, which seems to be avoiding to fix the defects in the building at all costs.
I am a very busy person. I hold two science degrees and I work in teaching and research at a local university. I don’t have time to go around putting mud into gutters.
Brighton Council is paying a lot of money for this job. When complaints are made, me and other residents expect them to be taken seriously. We don’t want people to be sent here to humiliate us inside our own homes.
I will give fourteen days for Mr Angus to apologize in writing or to provide evidence that supports his accusation. If he fails to do so, I don’t want to see him anywhere around my home again.
I look forward to hear from you soon,
Yours sincerely,
Ricardo Esplugas
