ADVICE     

The following guidelines are recommended when pursuing a complaint, against an injustice you suffered:

Be very patient. If you do not receive a reply, write again. Send emails and also use the phone.

Even when you get upset, try to be corteous and make your point very clearly.

Make sure you keep a log of all communications, including letters, emails and phone calls. An example of such log can be seen here.

If you send a letter, it is worth to pay an extra pound and send it as "recorded delivery". That makes more difficult for the receivers to ignore your letter and pretend they received nothing.
