Re: Complaint 25th July 2005. Acre Lane

WITHOUT PREJUDICE

To Whom It May Concern

I have made a complaint and sent it to your office but to date you have not had a reply to it or my telephone calls.

Please, note the following log of communications. (I have not logged all calls)

10 August 05. 12:25pm. LX572 at Brixton Police Station. Complaint not accepted here since it is a different type of Police. Given telephone number to contact  Chief Inspector V L.

11 August 05. Letter faxed to Chief Inspector V L at Larkhal Lane London SW4, Fax: 02072301932. I was informed that my complaint would be dealt with by another department. Your contact details were given to me.

30 August 05. I called Detective Sergeant C B at 16:47, 15:01 and 15:15 but this line was engaged 0208 6491046.

7 September 05. Having posted my complaint to Detective Sergeant C B and no having a reply from him I called his office at 15:45 but he was not available. I asked if Mr B had received my letter, he checked on Mr B’s desk and there were no letters from me. I left a message to contact me.

8 September 05. I call Mr B’s office. Confirmed that my letter did not arrive. I fax the letter (3 pages) and I called back at 14:20. Mr B was not available, I talked to Gil and confirmed that my fax had just arrived.
At 14:26 I called DCI D on 0208 6491000. He was not available and left a message that I was not happy about the way my complaint was handled.
9 September 05. At 16:01 I called DCI D. He was not available, I talked to N R. Left message that I did not have a reply to my complaint.

13 September 05. Message left at 15:45 on my home answering machine and 15:48 on my mobile phone from DCI D to call him back at my own convenience. I called when I got back from work at 18:18 and left a message that I have no reply to my complaint.

14 September 05. Called DCI D at 16:57. Left message asking when could I call, at what times was it suitable for him or anyone able to inform me about the progress of my complaint. Since I made my complaint I had not reply about it.

15 September 05. Called DCI D at 17:11. He was not available. I talked to Detective Sergeant Fuller. Mr B was not there. Left a message and informed Mr Fuller that I felt as if “I was taken for a ride” and I was not happy about the fact that I did not get a reply to my complaint.

27 September 05. Called Mr B at 13:44. Not available. Left message as previously.

Having waited a reasonable amount of time in order for you to reply and deal with my complaint, I will therefore seek legal advice about this. I believe I am entitled to make a complaint and have it answered. I am not impressed with the level of service that you are providing and I will urge you to reply to my complaint as a matter of urgency.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully

J
